Train Your AI: Sound and Gesture Games is now live on the dashboard.
This Mission builds on the first mini AI Mission and goes deeper into the same ideas. Apprentices train their own audio model to recognise their voice, improve its accuracy, then put it to use in a voice-controlled game. They then explore a pre-trained hand-tracking model to build a gesture-controlled game, before combining both models in a game of their own design for Project 4.
What you need to know
Equipment: This Mission requires a laptop with a working webcam and microphone.
Software: Apprentices use the web version of PictoBlox, so there is nothing to install. An account is not required, but we recommend creating a Facilitator account as it makes saving work between sessions much easier.
Resources: Project 4 is an open build where Apprentices bring everything together. There is an Apprentice cheatsheet in the Journey to Master Maker resources folder for anyone who isn’t sure where to start. It’s optional, so use it where it helps. HERE
This mission will be added to all Journey to Master Maker age groups and you will find it in
